I'm not sure that understand your message.
If you want to change the rom, then you need to make PIM (contacts, messages, tasks, appointments) backup, you shouldn't make a backup of all data, you have to reinstall all the programs you have.

If you want to make a hard reset (factory defaults restore), then you need to make a backup of all data. You can use Spb Backup, for example.

Hey Dattad,

My message is more about troubleshooting a suspected battery bug. Remember the first battery got stuck at 5% after rom change... I care mostly about the programs, data being synched.

I thought I found a thread with someone having the t600 stuck at 5% battery after rom upgrade but I can't find it back.

As for changing the rom, that would be a shame : this one works so much better, with memory headroom and all... Any idea on how to troubleshoot this? If not, I might revert to 6.0 if I can find a french rom. Then again, I'd rather stick with 3.50...

I'm not sure that you've got a battary bug because of rom upgrading. If you believe that it's true, install a different rom and check. French rom you can find here: t600 ROM Updates (official), but it seems to be not very "fresh" or on the official site.

Have this installed and its faster than 6.0 but have a small problem with my start menu.

It shows the background picture and looks nasty, When using wm 6.0 it was a transparent
popup and looked fine.

Anyone else have this problem? Know of a registry fix?

It's fine after a soft reset, right? We found out that the problem can appear when you use Quick Menu (option "Turn off the screen"), or after launching Internet Explorer 6.

Yesterday there was a new official Chinese ROM for t600 released, they say something about fixed SD cards and Wi-Fi problems (actually there's a new SD driver in that ROM). I hope that I'll have some free time soon to make a new WM6.1 ROM with a new SD driver. Be ready to test it.

I would volunteer to test the new english 6.1 ROM with the new SD driver. As the t600 is only my spare phone (I use the Eten v900 mostly) I can do that right away.

Hello everyone ! I have i am new here..and of course i have a problem so,problem is: i cant install any ROM to my t600 device...please check out this pictures here : http://www.flickr.com/photos/21614916@N02/?saved=1 pls and maybe someone will help me ! The pictures describe exactly my problem and i cant figure it out... Do i need java instaled ? i have net.framewotk3.5 instaled...i'm thinking i need something installed before rmaking rom upgrade...but what ? Thank you in advence !!!

succesfully and it seems fine,phone is faster, but in device info still shows version : RUS V3.02.C8 2007/10/4
