How to upgrade your T600 firmware for dummies

Hi!
My name is Pako and I'm from Italy. I've just bought a Gsmart T600 and I've discovered this magnificient site!!!

I would to upgrade my little T600, and I've read pages and pages of topics but my English is very poor and I'm afraid to broke my telephone!

Can Anybody help me step-to-step to understand how can I do the firmware upgrade? Thanks

My software version is: ITA V3.02.L8 2008/1/17
EXTROM version: V103_t600_ITA

I would to upgrade with a rom version with WM6.1 (then Unofficial.. right?) and I've this material:

I've read the pdf but I'm still searching to open the hidden upgrade menù...

The first thing you should ask yourself: why do you want to update the rom? Is there something that doesn't work?
Have you tried the latest official rom first? V3.02.N3 (Custfile V1.05) Italian (released 10 Mar 2009)

If you want to install one of the unofficial roms, then follow the same instructions from pdf file (turn off the device, press the buttons and so on), or read the rom update manual on our site. On your SD card you should have:

• *.nb0 file
• Juno-mux-N-A1.0551_32M.bif
• bootlogo.bmp

I want to update the rom because I've read about best stable and performance(windows mobile 6.1 better than 6 and I suppose that if there is an upgrade rom is to patch and fix problems of the previous release that is very old in my case)

i know the rule: If It works, don't touch it!!! And I just want to understand if a firmware upgrade is an advantage or not..

I never tried to upgrade until now. The problems that I have:

- My battery phone.. 4-5hrs from 100% to 30% and it is always in stand by... I use wi-fi only 2-3 times a day and for 5-10 minutes(specifications... 150 hours)
- Games doesn't work! There is a part of screen white (the part where is the keyboard) while other games do freeze white screen

By the other side... I never had a problem with DTT tv and with wi-fi..

Try V3.02.N3, it's official, and if you'll still have a battery problem, it will mean that unofficial roms won't help you too.
