Wifi Icon not working

Hi is there a link to the communications manager to reinstall in UK versions, as mine works with bluetooth and phone turning on/off but wifi shows permanently off even though it does connect and work ?? I did install mortscript at one point and suse, but have uninstalled both as not needed, but the icon shows permanently off but is working.

I am hoping that a reinstall of the comms manager will fix the software issue.

Any links or posting to assist would be welcome.

You should do a hard reset.

I don't really want to do that, as I have spent a lot of time setting it up, isn't the wifi drivers / comm manager software installable just by itself bit like the tv software, as I think its just the comm manager as the wifi works just the software doesn't turn it on of off, it appears it comes on when called upon, but its the power issue of leaving it on all the time.

"comm manager" isn't an application that you can reinstall, remove and install again, it's part of OS, also there're lots of registry keys that can be responsible for such abnormal behavior you see on your phone. In order not to have problems with "spending a lot of time setting it up" make backups regularly or before installing new software.
