T600 white screen problem

Hi. Today i received Gsmart T600 phone from Ebay. It looks ok , but phone have one bug. When the backlight on display turn off after 30sec when i press power button to turn on display i get only white screen, no picture. Then I press power button again to off screen and after I press again to power on screen then picture comes. I had this phone before so i know that is not good. The biggest problem is that when somebody calls me i only get white screen so i can see who is calling. I tried everything, even hard reset but nothing helps. What to do?

I want to try upgrade other ROM but i try all of them, every time i get message FAIL.I don know on witch country is locked I can find this version of rom witch i have. Phone is brand new, i got it from China.Do you have some suggestion what to do?

To upgrade the ROM you should follow this instruction: CHECK IMAGE : FAIL your device's ROM is English, its language code is 0409.

Hi dattad. Have you ever see this firmware ENG V3.02.S8 2008/4/16. I search everywhere for 6.1 update but nothing. I don't know how to fix this or i should return back phone to seller, Can you help me

There are no official WM6.1 updates. You can try unofficial, if you wish: t600 WM 6.1 LITE unofficial updates (English)

But witch one? I tried Italian, Russian, English, German...

No idea, why you get FAIL message with an English update, this is a suitable ROM for your device: http://rapidshare.com/files/202844630/G ... PDA.com.7z
If it can't be installed, then you'd better send your phone back or to a service center.

What happened with your phone? Did you return it?

I just bought a brand new T600 with the same ROM in your first post, and I face the same White Screen problem
every now and then..
But I must say it doesnt seem like a hardware issue (device works in background -only screen is white).

Yes it would be good to know if it was sorted and if a hardware / software problem ??

Bit worrying as I have one coming from fleabay too, are they Chinese versions pretending to be Taiwanese ? Do Gsmart recognize their serial no's ?

How often does it happen and is a reboot the only fix at the moment ?
