Memory issues

Postby pgunning1 » Sat Jan 23, 2010 1:42 am

Hi Guys

Got me new T600 replacement from GSmart. :D most functions are working ok at the moment, but is there anyway to recoup some of the memory or expand it from the storage memory as I have only 8 -10 mb of ram for the programs to run and Garmin etc appear to need more, any util that can reclaim some memory or is there any stuff that can be removed from memory as 41 mb for just running is quite high.

I am running SBP mobile shell 3 and thats it, so al 41 mb can't be just shell.

Any utils that may help or tweaks would be great.

that's enough to have not enough memory :) you'll have to get rid of this app, because it consumes to much memory.

But nearly all interaces are the same UI point, SPB & Wisbar all stop Garmin etc from loading, I'm looking in to task managers to see what can be stripped out to increase memory, as an HTC app devised for memory increase, can stop processes & close specific process you select as a default whilst doing a cleaning sweep.

Are there any good light memory interfaces that can do weather & launching of programs that are worth trying ?

And advice welcome.

Its good enough for now with 20 mb free ram. Now got a wifi issue i'll post separate.
