Upgrading Gigabyte gSmart i to Windows Mobile 6

I recently bought a new Gigabyte gSmart i64 with 64MB RAM which came with Windows Mobile 5 and would like to know whether it can be upgraded to Windows Mobile 6. If that cannot be done, are there firmware updates that can installed to boost the functions of the phone. Thank you in advance

What rom version do you have installed now? There's no official upgrade to WM6. Maybe our chinese friends have got something for i64.

Im not too sure but on the 'About' info it says Microsoft Windows Mobile Version 5.0 OS 5.1.195 (Build 14955.2.3.0). Dont know if this is the info that you are asking

It's OS version, but rom and extrom versions you can find in the last tab 'device info'.

under info there is (DATE: 2006_6_23), (OS FW: V1.12.48), (PHONE FW: KY3,LR), (PHONE ID: XS200 GPRS)

There's a bit newer official English rom for GSmart i64. V1.12.A3, 2006_10_17.
