MS820 battery life

Postby Touareg » Tue Mar 02, 2010 10:51 am

Hello,

1) The battery of my MS820 drains quickly. When the PDA is off the life of battery is almost less 2 days :%) . I did a factory reset but the problem still exist. What's your MS820/WM720 battery life?

2) I installed Garmin navigation on my MS820. When I'm using the navigation software and I temporarily turn off the PDA by its power switch, the screen goes black but I still hear the voice of navigator. what's wrong with my MS820?

Its specification says :

BatteryLithium-polymer 1300 mAh
Talk Time Up to 4 hours
Standby Up to 150 hours (6-7 days)

but battey life of my MS820 is just less than 2 days for Standby mode

Does the phone lay on the table, for example, during these two days and you don't turn it on? If you use it, then it's not standby time. Also don't forget that producers always write the time, which is different in reality.

Hello dattad,

Yes, I don't use this phone and it's always on my table. I trun it on 1-2 times per charge to just check its battery status. It has good features like Wi-Fi, GPS and two Cameras (one 5-Mpixel) but two annoying flaws are:

1. battery life is very short
2. the system is sensibly slow

I also noticed that it does not see many wireless APs around my home that my wireless laptop can see and also its wireless connection speed is not enogh good. Maybe latest version of wireless device driver would solve this issue?
