Phone is getting automatically switched off

My phone was mw 702 was working fine till today morning. my phone was 70% charged suddenly i have seen battery low message and phone gets automatically switched off.

i plugged the charger in to phone after that when i am trying to start the phone its switched off automatically after 20-25 seconds. i contacted gigabytes authorized service centre (By phone) they said as the phone is not in warranty they will not repair it neither on charge basis. I am ready to give the cost for repair but they are unable to repair my phone. pls suggest for further action.

Does the battery charge? Does the phone work with the charger plugged in?

Thanks dattad for your fast reply. i am facing the same problem after connecting the phone in to charger after reaching the windows mobile startup screen phone is getting automatically off. i have tried to re upgrade the rome with origional(official) windows mobile 6.1 ram. It is upgraded successfully at last i got the mmessage upgrade successfull pls remove your batttery, after restarting the phone is not getting started. Is there is a hardware problem in phone or software?

what do you see when you turn the phone on? have you tried to reinstall the rom?

i have seen the gigabyte logo n then windows 6.1 startup screen and then it switched off automatically.

yes i have tried to re re-install the rom with origional(official) windows mobile 6.1. It is upgraded successfully at last i got the message upgrade successfull pls remove your batttery but after restarting the phone is not getting started

Does it start when the charger is connected (not usb cable)?

no it does not start completely

Usually it's a battery problem, when the phone turns off or doesn't boot the OS, but in your case it seems there's some other hardware related problem. If you have a possibility, it would be great to have it tested in an official service center.
