GPS baud in MS800

Postby madbotte » Tue Apr 14, 2009 6:30 pm

Hi to all!
this is my first post in this very interesting forum.
I've a problem with my phone: i use iGO8 navigation program in MS800, and the port of GPS on board chipset run only at 4800 baud, so the nav is very slow, the arrow runs only by jumps. If i use my external GPS antenna MS800 read a 57600 speed baud and the nav goes well, fluently. Does somebody know how to speedup the port of the on board gps chipset??
Thank you :D

If you really believe that it can improve the situation with iGO, then use the registry editor:
go to "HKLM\Control panel\GPS Settings" and change "Group"=3 to 1. Save the changes and reset the device.
Open Start - settings - External GPS and change the settings.
