What is the best locking software for i128

Hi dattad and all,

Do you know what is the best software for locking the phone when in standby mode that require to input a code to unlock it from standby. I've use the lock feature from the default software but it is only lock when device unused for number of minute and also when I am turning on the analog TV if I set the lock for example 30 minute yes it run but what I want is the device lock only when the device is idle/standby just like the keylock also when I press the power button to put it on standby it will lock also not base on time set.

Have you seen this feature: Start - Settings - System tab - Power - then the last tab and an option to lock the device when it wakes up ?

Yes currently I'm using it, but what I need is when device wake up it will require a password code to insert instead only an unlock menu by touching the left hard button and press unlock. I also already try using Setting - personal - lock but it is only active when I set it with certain time of period and this become annoying when I watch movie or TV because after certain period that I already set it will locking the device and shut down other program not like the regular unlock menu (setting - system - power) that will not lock the device if there is a program active.

Have you tried to set time to 0 min in Setting - personal - lock?

Yes I did and it works, but when I open the TV still locking my device when I don't press any key. What I need is like the keylock software so when TV is on then keylock is off until I exit the program and turn off the device and not running while I'm still watching the TV. Sorry if my question make confuse.

I've not heard about the lock software with some kind of exclusions list where you can add TV app. I guess the application itself should have a feature not to enter standby mode, like video players. As I understand you watch TV and your GSmart goes standby after for examle 2 minutes? I'll ask other users if they have the same problem with TV.

I already download and try Slide 2 unlock it is for VGA (only half were viewable) and accelerated devices because to unlock using phone movement this one is not suitable for me I think. mLock I cannot download from the link you provide because I couldn't find the download page or link.

Hi dattad,

It seems that I was wrong giving comment the software that I test yesterday was pocket shield sorry for the mistake, now I already test the slide 2 unlock it is like the iPhone lock software. It was cool but more memory used than mLock. I will try mLock first for a while.

pal, try to use Throttle Lock software.you can easily get the cab file and it doesn't even use code.It uses a design pattern to unlock the phone and as per ur requirement, it shall serve u just right.......try it!!
