i128 Service Provider name and GPRS settings for India

Dear Friends,
I am using GSmart i128, using Vodafone connection. But Unfortunately my mobile showing the service provider as Command which was very old and doesn't even exist today, Command was bought by Hutch and then Hutch was acquired by Vodafone. Anyway my mobile showing the operator name as Command, even it does not recognize BSNL and showing it as some numeric number. So please help me to sort out this service operator name problem.

Also, I am not able to set my vodafone GPRS setting to browse internet. I contacted vodafone about the same they told me that I need to register for mobile office which is too costly, to browse internet on windows mobile.

So, friends please help me regarding the problem.

To change operator's name you need to modify in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\RIL\OperatorNames
create String key with your operator's code and enter a name you wish to see.
For example:
"25099"="Beeline"

thanks for your reply, but unfortunately its still not showing the operator name, I found the code in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Network_Code, and update registry as per your suggestion, but its still not showing up. My network list doesn't show the operator name.

Please also suggest something regarding the gprs.

Can you provide a screenshot of where you see a wrong operator name?
As for gprs, you received an answer from Vodafone. What else do you want to hear?

thank you for reply, here I attach screen-shot. I have few more screen shot I took at network selection mode, Automatic and Manual, and available network. But due to limitation of 1 attachment I cant post all.

As per GPRS is concern Vodafone told me that I have to subscribe for Mobile office, and need to take the mobile to their authorized shop, I don't believe its too difficult to setup of my own.

I am sorry to inform you that after installing the cab you provided my mobile still not showing up the desired operator name.

well, ok, do you know GPRS settings for your operator?

I found this setting on my Country's Vodafone GPRS settings page, though its not meant for Win. Mo but I think the settings will almost same with Win Mo.
