GSmart i128 Battery drain within 3 hours

Hello
I am facing this problem for last few months, my battery gets drained within 3 hours even if I am not using it, i.e. standby mode. My mobile gets heated up even in standby mode.

I already replaced the battery, but it doesn't help.

Please suggest something.

Are you sure it's not a software problem? Have you done a hard reset?

Yes I have already did that, even I reinstalled the windows, but it still the same. Its still draining in the same manner.

Are you sure your second battery is fine? If it's Ok, I guess there can be a hardware problem with your phone.

Yes, even I also think that it may be due to HW problem, but not getting good after sales support in India. I replaced my old battery for the same problem, and its brand new company battery, so what can be the problem.

As you say there was no problem two month ago, so it can be some kind of hardware problem. You need to have your phone diagnosed in a service center.

Same thing happened to me.
1. Even if I don't use the cell, the batt. heats up and drains like anything.
2. The Battery meter does not show up.
3. The phonebook doesn't show any contacts.
4. Hangs a lot,
5. It became slower than a WM 2003 Cell
After "Hard Resetting" everything became alright.
Hope there's a software problem.
For Hard Resetting> Press & hold Windows key+OK key and Press Power Button....
It will reset everything. Please use backup for contacts & msgs.
