about .net compact

The OS of my i350 is WM 6 Professional. It is happening more and more often that when I try to install new applications they do not work as they require a more updated version of .net compact. I would like to update with .net compact 3.5 but at the same time I am not sure whether the rest of the applications currently installed in my device will continue to work. Do you think that updating .net compact is a safe task? Are you aware about some collateral effects?

I'm sure you won't have any problems with your applications after installing v3.5.
