Wifi Driver Problem

Postby osama_gma » Sat Apr 25, 2009 3:52 pm

Hi,
I have iteq xbond .. few monthes ago when I upgraded the ROM, something went wrong with the WIFI.
I can't find the Wireless Enable/Disable Option in the Wireless manager and when the PDA starts it says ..
"Unrecognized Card:
Enter the name of the device driver for this card. For information, see the card manufacturer's documentation."

and the default text in the textbox is "Unknown card in Socket 1"
anyone can help me with that or provide me a solution??
I tried to hard reset the device, but it doesn't fix anything!!

Usually this message means that there's a hardware problem. Some people solved this by entering the following " name of the device driver": CF8385PN

I'm not familiar with wi-fi hardware, probably you'll have to check it with no guide, sorry.

NO, I get this message as well on my ubiquio 401 (gsmart) !

it occurs when I have low free RAM -thats my experience!
it also depends on installed apps especially today screen...

Usually, it gets fixed by itself

@xeirwn: The RAM isn't low :(
usually about 20MB free!

Can I use the ROM upgrade again to install the ROM??
or it can be used only to upgrade the ROM from the previous version?
Note: The ROM files I downloaded from iteqonline is called "XBond_ArabicUpdate_v1.12.80".

But it started after I installed the ROM and the free space in the ROM was about 11Mb :D
